Amber and I will be heading up there. Might get a little propane grill action going on once I get the Riviera tent up.  ;)

Yeah, I'm not out to sell any food...hell, I don't cook that well!  :D

Mind you, BBQ Fest is at the Alameda Co. Fairgrounds the day before BusFest, so I might pick up some tips. ;)

so busfest was pretty cool, i decided not to go but ended up going anyway, glad i did. reason why corey left so early from fosters is because he busted his bottom adjuster when he hit the roadplate on stonypoint right by the KFC, drove into fosters with it hittin tire on every little bump he said. he ended up fixing it this morning and we went.

had a good time, the fall shows always tend not to be as big, which is kinda nice i think, more laid back.

Taylor, nice to meet you finally, seen you on thesamba and seen your bus at shows long enough, figured i'd run into you at some point.

in all honestly, and greg don't take this the wrong way, but like you said, it would have been nice to get the award of best truck for either the binz or give it to a single or doublecab at least, i guess the salesflap is pretty much a truck, i mean you do haul hella shit in it, but it looks like it would be more under the bus category than anything.

Smaller show this time 'round, but still good times. Russell, great to finally meet you...and Carl...and Tom Mink outta Sac.  It was just a good chill day (and yes, that chill too...took a while for the fog to burn off).

I'll have pix on the Samba by morning.

The number of Buses was down (93) but the total number of attendees was higher than any of the past events.
Too many people leaving their Buses at home I guess....

As for the Best Truck award, I'm not sure what to say. I wasn't the one doing the judging, but it was a nice surprise.

Here's what I brought out.

Are Mike and I the only ones rolling out for this?

I'm down to taking one bus with no drivers willing to take my others.

Nor Cal has the best spots for shows, Kelley Park, This place, Pleasanton, Madera, etc. Not "parking lots shows" on the asphalt all day but grass and trees.

The RHD was a roller, no issues at all. Kind of a shame to lay it out, but it has to happen....
