decided to give the type 3 thread some love. Had my old vert parked outside my dads house and a old man on a bike stops by and says he has a notch sitting in his garage. i go check it out to find a 73k mile rust free all og 6 volt car, still has its og 1500 motor:

i decided to primer it and get it rolling

i couldnt stand rolling stock so lowered it some on some brms

i also cleaned up the trunk areas and interior a little

sold my vert to focus on the notch so in the bodyshop it went

new rollers on firestones all around

assembly is lmost done as far as the exterior, im really happy with this car and cant wait to get it done and rolling

Inquiring minds want to know.

Also, what's the turn around time?

Does he do detailing as well?

Thanks Rich, yeah the car has come a long way, it always bugged me rolling around on repop Fuchs and I told myself once I get some dough that's the first thing I'm buying is a real set,and all that work I just did to it really paid off. I'm really happy with the car right now, also was checking out what's involved on how to mount that 3 spoke in the notch since I've never seen one in a type 3 before, I'm looking into getting a hub machined down instead of switching shafts. And no problem on the chromer I'm sure He will take care of you guys as well.
