Hi I am Richard... got my first VW at 16 years old (64 Beetle). I worked in Car audio for 11 years and then changed careers 11 years ago to become a VW mechanic at an independant shop which I bought 5 years ago! I have owned close to 40 VWs. Here is a picture of my favorite ride.

Thanks for the welcome... the bus is definately a work in progress
This winter:
1. Rancho 4:12 long tube/long axle with type 3 brakes w/ wagenswest trailing arms
2. new 1776cc engine
3. Berg shifter
going to start on the metal replacement soon...
