Wheel again determine what brakes you need to run.

*Most* wide 5 after market wheels won't work with the '62 and earlier "big snout" front brakes, so an "upgrade to later '63 - '67 brakes needs to happen. Unless you can get lucky and find a set of "63 only" spindles that use late brakes but still use early link pins, you'll have to swap out your spindles for the later 64 -67 style, and change your control arms t the later ones with the bigger link pins as well.

Switching to Porsche patten wheels is actuly a lot easier. There a 944 kits that will work with early AND late spindles so no swapping of the arms or spindles is needed to get you the 5x130 bolt patten

Same goes for the wide 5 disk kits. There are both early and let versions available the require no swapping of arms / spindles.

Either of these are available for early or late front ends and are direct bolt ons. No welding / fabrication needed.

You going to run a monster BD beam in that thing? You know...OG bd beam mounts, with center steer, and 64-67 componets?

Also, I'm sure you're doing tubs or some crazy shit...but Nankang has new tires avalible for 16" rims, 165/40/R16" and 165/45/R16".....They'd be stretched a little on the 6" but should look alright.

Not sure exactly if the beam is still going to mount BD stylee, All I do know is she will hold 2 bags & tuck like a MoFo!

I suppose if you had a late beam donation with no spindles / brakes and you had an early bus with brakes and no beam you'd be set!!!

 I dont know what he did with the shit. I just sent him early spindles and he charged me the same amount that he does to flip them.
