Whats up guys! Most of you know me from my KCW days. left there a couple of years ago and now have my own shop in Grand ol Junction. Stepped away from just working on vdubs with John and the crew to have a slower paced life but still dabble a bit now and then with DDW.

Yes, sittin on the doors with 22"s. BIG thanks to KCW for passing out my cards. its good to know that we can all still work together. hows things down south of the tracks? heard about the chopper, very cool i know john has wanted one for a long time. him and i talked about one while we were puting the 26 dayer together. dont know which early bug you guys just got done with for the shoot a couple of weeks ago but i saw the interior at doug's and it looked killer. ill have to admit i coppied george's seats. i saw the ones doug did for his birthday and had to have some. so my truck is all ostriched out too!!

Business is retarded good. More work than we can handle. We get guys asking if we can bag their Caddy or paint their mini-truck, and the conversation goes something like this: "No" "what, you can't?" "No, I just don't want to. But I know a guy who does" That ostrich is BADASS! Ostrich headliner, dash, and door panels too? That'll look good in your truck. Did Doug show you those crazy stingray hydes? We found a place to order reproduction wool material from...they have all kinds of cool vintage shit. Next time your in I can show you the sample book....Doug loves the fucked-up shit I make him do ;D

I'm sure your tired of hearing stuff about babies...but I'm going to give you my run-down on it.
1) Enjoy the free time and extra money you have now. I have a small fortune in baby toys/cloths/stuff. My life is divided into 3 equal parts -work-family-sleep. If I want to do anything extra or for myself, I have to give in those areas....But all of that stuff is connect. I need sleep to work, I need work for family, ect, ect. My newest saying is "I don't build cars anymore, I raise children" ;D Its not really that bad, I still work on my own shit....But having an entire weekend or evening to dedicate to a project is very rare. Time is my most valuable asset.
2) The first 6 months are ruff...lots of lifestyle adjusting to do. The first 3-4 months really suck....Try not sleeping more than 2 or 3 hours at a time for weeks....Its very very stressful.
3)You're going love you're little guy, and your new life.

Fuck, Franz dont scare him
Hes right though, but you never know My kid (8 months) slept real good from the begining. Now hes decided to be a picky eater I work 8 hrs 5-6 days a week then come home and watch him so my wife can go to work. Then on the weekends I get my daughter too, so I have no time to do shit but work and sleep. Grandma is taking my daughter next weekend so I may actualy get something done.
But in the end its all worth it. only 17 more years to go :o

thanks for the heads up franz.
Jim got svery lucky, David is a super good kid. i had the pleasure of working with him for an afternoon while he was here for the summer. hes a gearhead in the making for sure. that pic must be fairly old. he wouldn't need that stool any more to reach the windows of a bus.

Well what can I say, I gave up my "over the top" ways for a night & you tell everyone? I am guilty... :o I prefer to take the proper amount of time these days, get off @ a resonable hour, Have some time for myself, a home cooked dinner (cuz the Cock shop for lunch aint all that), Get a FULL night sleep & hit that bitch hard again the next day. Cuz thats how "I" roll... Its a more detailed, longer lasting peep show that way! El Capitan
