Yes it is.

I need to fix what I broke this weekend now though. Seems the work is never done.

As for the sticker on the windshield, Trayle called me over to my car at Nick's, showed me the sticker, he said we'd talk about it later, but for now he wanted me to have it. Either way those guys are my friends and we had a blast together all weekend.

If the only thing you take away from those pictures is the multiple shades of white, you just don't get it.

No resto for this car, it's going to be my driver while I build something else.

ohno

I do have a bumper that could use some help though.

Everytime I hear about the curb, I think of the E40 song "Carlos Rossi"

Three of four times a day you can catch me drivin
Back and forth to the liquor store buyin
Jugs and jugs of tha sh*t cause I`m addicted wit no denying
Perving, swervin rannin all into the f**kin curb and
If I get one more D.U.I. then it`s curtains

I had some free time today so I pulled the 356 apart not knowing what to expect.

The engine came out no problem, then the smell of burnt clutch filled the shop. Guess I'll have to replace that after bogging 3rd all weekend at the Classic....

Tranny out, nose cone off, and the shifting issue was easy to find.

I pulled apart my spare trans and stolle the hockey stick from it. Now I'm waiting on a new nose cone seal, and while doing that I'm putting this "solid" front mount back together so I don't have this issue again.

I'm so smart I didn't think I needed it oops.

Yeah it was. Engine is getting dropped off for a "dial in" tomorrow and some tweaking of the linkage for a smoother pedal. By the time it's done I should have everything tranny wise put back together as well as the fender / bumper repaired.

Good to go for the Nor Cal Treffen August 2nd

 thumbs up

Tough but good news on an easier repair than a whole rebuild.

You break it, you fix it. That's the rule. I'll give a 2nd try and see what happens.

In my defense. That trans was always hard to get into 1st / 3rd / reverse (all 3 up) so I guessing the hockey stick was on it's way out. On top of that I was no where to be found when it broke. I was upstairs.
