Yeah, at some point someone talked sense into me and I sold that 912 engine.
The "original" 2332cc VW engine that was in it before is being freshened up, made a bit more street-able and going back in.
It's at Paradise now getting a set of 044 CNC Super Pro heads, IDA intakes match ported, dropping the compression to 9:1 range, and swapping the FK89 cam for something milder and easierfor daily driver status instead of drag race status.
Since I sold the wrapped 911 shroud set up, I'm going a different route this time. The whole engine compartment will have a new look to it when I'm done.
In the meantime, I managed to get the rebuilt (repaired) trans back from Rancho. I had them do the 3.44 R&P as well as the .77 4th gear. It works so well in my buses I figured, why not.
So I got that installed and got the car back to a roller status.
Just in time for that BD to show up and take all of my extra time....
