Or 4 ...........( You gotta be a short Mo-Fo to use this position ) icon_razz

Maybe you want to hang at a show and face the people in the back of the bus.......

Or simply stand outside the bus and find a place to rest your cold beverage or set-up your laptop or other device..............

Or maybe from inside, place to put down a sandwich or............

Here's a little detail shot of some of the mechanism and such needed to pull this off........

Looks like the same thing as an SO-33 Flip seat, only more up to date.

The last 3 are of my own "extra" seat I had, the other I found on the Samba in the gallery.

I always wanted to do a flip seat DC, but never found one beat enough to hack up.

That's one advantage I had with this bus, It Was Beat !!!!!!
Rusty, Crusty old 13 window deluxe 67 that needed everything so anything goes as far as I'm concerned.
Just so you guys know, I had thoughts of a custom double swivel seat conversion too but by the time I made the seats wide enough for my wide ass there was not enough room to swivel ( Much less to walk thru. ) wink

Lets catch up a bit, Home brewed belly pans are in........

Whats that wood thing? A big ass straight sander?
Didnt even notice before that the doglegs are molded to the body now.
What did you spray it with, some super high build primer? Shit almost looks like texture paint.

Thanks man, Yeah, that's a 5 1/2 foot sanding block I made, the seam between the Qtr. panel and dog leg got covered up but I'll dig it back up proper wink

The polyester primer is an Evercoat product called Slick-Sand, VERY high build indeed, sort of a spray on filler it's catalyzed with MEK. I use it on everything.

Yeah, I was thinking hack saw blade too but maybe grind it to thinner ( just a bit )

Been driving the bus and even brought it out to Ca. for the Classic events.....................

First show out at Atlanta Motorspeedway got to drive the track and picked up a couple awards too........

I didn't know it was you. My girlfriend, myself and Jeff (themacnut) were digging on the glass color as you rolled by.
We were set up right by the gate in the Italian Salesflap. I wouldn't mind getting some info on the glass for my Vendo

I just sold my auto glass business of 17 years so the green glass was a no brainer for me, Any GOOD auto glass shop can do this for you very easily and don't let them charge you more for green cause it costs the same or VERY little more wink

What a pile of poop. I looked over this "custom" bus at the open house Classic weekend. I could not believe all the cut corners and lack of thought that went into this bus.

Obviously I am full of shit and everything I said was the exact opposite of the truth.
Fact is the front seat alone is nicer than anything I have ever built.
