Thanks Greg. I got a new crank already. may have to have it polished up but I think I am good. I talked to another friend Anton, who brings a car to BOR to race. And he is telling me since I am just going with the single 34 and the stock exhaust there is no point in using the 100 cam. He is telling me to ditch the dish 100 and just get a reground stock cam and lifters, get rebuilt rods, all the bearings and a new pump.And it will be a good reliable engine. And not too much money. Which is all I fucking want. I hope I dont need to spend much over $100. But I dont really want to cut costs and have some small BS domino and fuck the whole engine again. 3rd rebuild 2nd builder.  I prolly have about 2k in this fucking motor. My friend who built it is going to see what he can do about getting the parts I need. and wants to help pay for it. I know, in a perfect world he would pay for it all but we will see.  |

Your right guys that looks exactly like what I did. I have no original ideas of own.  Honestly, I have never seen that roof and I only heard about the door panels after I asked on OK how people would suggest gluing the magazines to the fan shroud and people told me to ask Pigpen. I thought of it a few yeas back when I saw my friends car that had old comic books plastered to his roof. Someone in the 70s did. I dont know when pigpen did his but I posted that I was going to do it in July 09 http://dailydrivendubz.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1599&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=90Yeah I was going to do mango but figured a little shade off may look nice.
I wanted to actually plaster old 60s/70s pinup chicks or old playboy chicks on it and clear it but didnt want to wait.
The fan cover is mango to brake up the monotony a little
It will work for now
later I will have a 1776 built for it I never said it was an original idea I just thought it was cool. Sorry Greg and Rich, I will try harder to impress you next car I build.  |

Whos engine is that? I wasnt taking it hard. I did ad this little number ( )  And I just edited it so its directed at you both. Once I heard that Pigpen did that shit I already knew I was going to be called a biter so I guess I was ready for it. When I first decided to do it I did think I was being original though.  When I did ask pigpen for advice he didnt tell me how he did the panels but he told me he covered a fan shroud in dollar bills. Said it took $38 to cover it. It cost me $4 for 2 magazines shipped and $5 for the clear.  Its hard trying to be cool when you are poor |

Shits up for sale. I cant afford to fix the engine again. And I was thinking of raising it up which would be a waste of all frame mods so I figure I will start over if it sells. If not I will just hold onto it I guess. Doesnt cost shit sitting in the car hole.

Yeah Renting a car and splitting the car and room with Jerome (in2rust) I would just drive my car to save money but Im afraid something would happen to it too. And for $155 with insurance I can drive the shit outta the car. Curb appeal 2 |

Yeah the guy drove out from Pasadena picked it up at 2:30 this morning and headed back home because he had to work today Congrats on the sale. I guarantee that guy called in sick today after that drive. |
