OK, so who is rolling out and in what?

My plan is to have the Vendo AND Salesflap there.

Both should be looking  little different than they do here. But you get the idea.

We're gonna try to get there for sure. It's expensive getting puddle jumpers from here to get anywhere!

TRP Swap Trophies

To add a new flavor to your average Volkswagen Swap Meet we have come up with a new and innovative idea. The Resurrection Project has custom made four trophies that we would like to encourage all swappers compete in. These will be a spectator judged competition with each person who enters the show receiving a ballot to vote for each trophy. Please use your imagination to make this a fun and new competition for swappers

Curb Appeal
(Best Looking Swap Spot Display)
Who’s swap spot will stop the crowd in their tracks and have them coming in to look around and see what kind of swag you have for sale….(please keep it Volkswagen/Automotive Themed)

Bro Deal
(Best Priced Swapper)
Remember in the 1980’s when you could buy a running driving bug for 500 bucks? Yeah us too…so who is going to have the best prices on their parts..extra points if you have the 80’s mullet!!!

Vintage Vault
(Rarest Items)
Who’s bringing out the boxes wrapped in chicken wire with the rarest pieces and parts? I want to see rows and rows of blue NOS VW boxes for the winner of this award..who will have the rarest items for sale?

Flyest Junk Wagon
( Best Swap Meet Vehicle)
Break out the Romestch, the Dannenhauer-Strauss, Hebmuller, Split Karmann Kabrio, or Barndoor 23..who will be selling parts out of the “Flyest Junk Wagon”.

Got my two vendor bus passes and 8  shocked VIP wistbands in the mail yesterday.

It's officially on!

I plan on staying at the La Quinta Inn off Madison, who else is down for that?
I may just get a suite as it's usually cheaper than a bunch of room.

Holla back!

‎*CHECK THIS OUT* We are in the process of locking in www.AndersonImages.net for a photo shoot the day of the event, that we not only be shared publicly, but will be generated into calenders that will become available each year we hold the event.

We think it will be a fun and fresh spin on swap meets, as well as having the anticipation... of who and what makes it into each annual calender... : )

I have 8 VIP passes and no one coming with me. You're welcome to one of those Chase.

On the same note, with no one coming with me I need to sort out getting both buses out there.
I may have one hauled out mid week but I'll still need a driver to get it to the show Sunday AM from Jason's shop, or Huh?.

Let me try and figure out whats going on here before I commit to it but  I would love to make it.
2 things I need to work out here are
1 I get my daughter on the weekend and
2 my mom is coming in to town this weekend to watch the kids so my wife and I can have a "date night"
But we may be able to do that friday and then maybe I could come out sat afternoon and work it out.

Thank you both for the offers.

Hey greg. I was jus thinkn... Since the HP is one of your drop jobs.  Maby you could use it as a second bus in the vendor spots and jus lay those two buses out and not have to work out all the details for the smoker! Just a thot!

If I was going to do that I'd rather use my *other* bus that's already out there as my second bus.
You could use then use the HP for your deal.

I *think* I have a driver, but I won't know until later today. I'd really like to have all three in one spot. That has happened in over 3 years.

It's really a matter of getting stuff out to the swap. The Vendo is *not* good for large items. I'm loading The Smoker with all of those today.

2 piece 5 spokes
Aluminum wide 5 American's
1915cc long block
A bunch of soda coolers
Free standing Coke machine if I *really* get crazy

We don't need to bring tables, correct?

Jeff you in for Saturday night?
Me and my buddy (not turbo) Steve will be rolling into TRP somewhere around 2:30pm or so.
Booked up at the La Quinta as well. Do we move the party over there when Jason kicks us out?

I *think* I am squared away. My AAA plan didn't work today (bus too low) so hopefully I can get a driver to roll out with me Saturday.

Jeff, you feel like coming through Santa Rosa?

As of tonight I inherited another Vendor spot and 4 more VIP passes. I can use the room for selling, but the VIP passes I do not need.
Eric, Jason, ?? Sell them extras to help fund the charity.

What's the chances I can get 3 of my buses lined up for selling?

Sorry, I cant make it. I will shoot for it next time for sure. I am close enough that I should have no problem. But My battery in my bus went to shit so I need to use the money on that instead of gas.

We had a blast! The whole day was good. No drama, just people out for a good time.

Vintage Warehouse getting the "Curb Appeal" award for best swap spot may have a hidden meaning  thinking

Thanks again Eris, Jason, and crew. I'll get my pics up ASAP.
