So I have been with out an aircooled VW in my control, for far too long... This all O.G 1963 23 window walk though samba is next on the choppn' block The plan is to smack it on the ground and roll out... less is more, for the look, and the attitude. special thanx to "yustrn" could not have done it with out you, and would want to!!!

Now I see why you needed to borrow the dollies. I assume this is the one you guys went to check out Saturday? Nice score, looking forward to seeing it on the road.

This bus is awesome and the fact that we were able to score it locally from a really cool cat who had it just chillin in his garage is a pretty amazing feat in this day and age....what's funny is my girlfriends sister lives about 3 blocks away...it's crazy what's still hiding in peoples garages.

I won't guarantee more views, but I will guarantee less haters. Give me some measurements on the Cal Parts wheels and I'll see what I can do for you in the front and rear to make them fit. These numbers would be a good start width / offset / backspacing (don't worry about bolt circle or diameter).

I need a good fuel tank... let me know whats out there... thanx man... my day started out wrapn' up a bus for the shipper and then test drivn the triple white 79 vert, then picked up a all og 66 6v T3 motor,(for sale) then back accross town to a storage yard that the tenant bailed on, full of vdub parts...loaded them up, then back to the shop to see how things wre goin with my boy on pollishing the trim on Hocus Pocus... it's cleaning up nicely...

Of course you should raise the box. Its just metal, you can always change it if you had to. I would avoid going so low you need tubs though.

I have the SA kit out of my Vendo if you are interested. I decided to swap the whole deal out for a Pro Street trans (more on that in the Vendo thread) Trans, SA kit, assembled ready to go. Clean it up and add brakes you are good to go. I don't want your cash, I'll trade for labor............
