Experience is kicking in again, so I'll say it now before you get too far along. Those spindles are early. Early BIG snout brakes probably aren't going to fit inside your wheels without some machining to the drum, wheel, or both. Better off going with late brakes. If you're beam is set up with early arms, go with "63 only" spindles.

I could possibly help out every once and a while. I only live in Reno, whats 2 hours? I used to drive to Folsom and back every day when I was working on the big bridge. It FKN sucked but it was money.

Ive never done it but I guess you can get late spindles and arms and just cut the sleeves off the arms and they will slip right into a late beam.

You mean slip into an early beam, right?
Late '63 - '65 works like that. '66 - '67 need some finesse.

No worries Jason, let the professional at Vintage Warehouse fix it for you.
Just like the guys that advertise "We fix the $99 tint jobs" we can get you back on the road quickly.

Waiting on the wheel lug seat info so I can get this going for you.

I want some so bad but them shits aint cheap. I will suggest one thing, toss those seals in the trash and get the ones that crimp on.
They all leak from what I hear but I had those kind on mine and hated them.

What are you doing with the old glass? I know someone who needs some. biggrin
